This part of our service has been specifically designed for individuals and organisations working in the field of providing public and social benefit and who recognise that they need to act now to deal with major changes in the way the services they are responsible for have been funded, provided and delivered.  We provide practical business and organisational development support and enhanced skills for individuals and agencies that are thinking about, actively setting up or are already responsible for sustaining a community service or enterprise.  It will be delivered by people who have been there, done it and have succeeded. 

 

Our ambition is to develop and support socially caring individuals to enable them to become successful social entrepreneurs.  Our offer is based around six elements:

  • Business Review - A short, sharp focussed review that can be completed in five days assessing how fit is your organisation in relation to growing social entrepreneurs and becoming a social enterprise.  You will receive a summary report and feedback including practical recommendations for: raising profit (or reducing cost); improving your customer service and delivering more community services.
  • Personal  Transformation -  A support package for current and future leaders responsible for making their organisations more socially enterprising.  A personal transformation programme will be designed selected from a menu of: personality profiling; individual and group coaching; mentoring with unlimited access to a nominated personal advisor; action learning sets; membership of a like minded network of people facing similar challenges; online practical resources; education and development events and weekly information service.
  • Entrepreneurial Business Skills - Providing essential tools, training and practical know how to support entrepreneurial growth by skilling up individuals or teams within organisations with the essentials to get going in: business management; generating funds and finance; marketing and sales; getting the most out of your people; growing your customers and stakeholders and maintaining top quality delivery across all service areas.
  • Organisational Development and Transformation - Facilitated workshops with the top team to identify areas in need of improvement and to design and implement change processes for improving performance. Developing and supporting the leadership team to cascade the change processes to other teams throughout the orgnisation whilst simultaneously enhancing team working.   
  • Making a Social Enterprise - A route map and support for creating a new social enterprise.  Helping you through the different stages and components in setting up a new social enterprise: appraising the different operating models; identifying the benefits and the best ways of achieving them; satisfying the requirements and doing the essentials; devising the project plan; establishing the governance; embedding leadership throughout the whole organisation; setting priorities and the business systems; securing and optimising resources; tracking and reviewing progress – the virtuous system.
  • Delivering Execllence and Business Success - Providing specifically targeted support to address a need, respond to a new challenge or raise performance to the next level through one or more of the following services: executive coaching; working with teams or teambuilding; establishing or working with Boards; organisational away days; intensive short courses/seminars with expert advisors and customised consultancy support.
